Erling Haaland was the star of the show as Borussia Dortmund took the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie against PSG 2-1.

Borussia Dortmund were the better side for the majority of the 90 minutes, but they had to wait until the second half to take the lead. Erling Haaland tapped home the opener, getting his goal tally into double figures in only his seventh game.

Neymar equalised for PSG soon after, giving them a vital away goal ahead of next month’s second leg in Paris. But Erling Haaland restored Borussia Dortmund’s lead less than two minutes later with a sumptuous strike from the edge of the box. The goal sealed an important win for Borussia Dortmund, giving them a slender lead going into the second leg of the tie.

Here are the player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 2-1 win over Paris St. Germain.

Roman Bürki (7/10)

Bürki wasn’t tested as much as some expected before the game. But the Swiss shot stopper dealt with everything PSG threw at him, making two important saves in the second half off Mbappe. He did not stand a chance with Neymar’s goal, but he put in a confident display between the sticks.
