The Quarter-Finals are within reach

Borussia Dortmund are half-way to progression to the Quarter-Finals in the Champions League. They have set themselves up reasonably well, with a one goal lead. Conceding the away goal to PSG does make matters a bit worrisome, it basically ensures Dortmund must score in the next game. With Dortmund’s attack that shouldn’t be too much of an issue but Dortmund will need to keep PSG at bay in the second leg to stand a chance.

Dortmund will likely be bolstered by the return of both Marco Reus and Julian Brandt for the second leg which will be massive to their chances of progressing. Adding that to the one goal advantage they have, Dortmund’s chances increase significantly. Inversely, PSG will be without Marco Verratti and Thomas Meunier through yellow card accumulation suspensions, which will be a massive boost for Dortmund. Verratti had several goal saving tackles for PSG in the first leg and is a very important player for them.
