Watch Werder Bremen vs Borussia Dortmund: Live Stream, TV info for Bundesliga clash
Borussia Dortmund will be aiming to end their poor recent run against Werder Bremen as the two sides meet for the second time this month on Saturday.
Werder Bremen ended Borussia Dortmund’s DFB Pokal campaign with a shock 3-2 win when the two sides met earlier this month. And Lucien Favre’s side now return to the Weserstadion with revenge on their mind.
Borussia Dortmund go into the game with momentum on their side, having beaten Paris St. Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday. But Werder Bremen are unbeaten in their last four games against Dortmund, so beating them certainly won’t be an easy task.
Despite their poor recent record against Florian Kohfeldt’s side, this is a game Borussia Dortmund should be winning if they are to go deep in the title race. The Black and Yellows are currently four points behind league leaders Bayern Munich, and cannot afford any more slip-ups, especially against teams battling relegation.
Werder Bremen are currently 17th in the league table, five points adrift of safety. They have lost their last four games in the Bundesliga, and have conceded a league high 51 goals.
Borussia Dortmund will welcome back Julian Brandt, after he missed the last two games due to injury. Marco Reus and Thomas Delaney remain out, with the latter expected to return next weekend.
The game will be broadcast live in the United States on Fox Sports 1, while fans in Germany can watch live on Sky Sport Bundesliga.
