Lukasz Piszczek (6.5/10)

Piszczek did not put a foot wrong and dealt with everything that came his way with great confidence. Despite playing his third game in the space of a week, the veteran defender put in a solid shift for his side. If he continues to perform like this, the club will have no choice but to give him that new contract.

Mats Hummels (7/10)

Hummels put in a commanding display in the heart of Dortmund’s back three. He made some very important tackles and clearances for his side, showing his excellent quality. Davie Selke has proved to be a thorn in Dortmund’s side in recent seasons, but Hummels kept him quiet today.

Dan Axel Zagadou (8/10)

Zagadou was once again very solid defensively, and put in an error-free display. He also took his goal really well, showing great desire and awareness to get on the end of Sancho’s cross and volley the ball into the net.
