Borussia Dortmund predicted XI vs Freiburg: Erling Haaland a doubt

Goalkeeper: Roman Bürki

Bürki has enjoyed a quiet few games, even keeping two league clean sheets in a row. He will be hoping for more of the same this weekend.

Centre Backs: Lukasz Piszczek, Mats Hummels, Dan Axel Zagadou

Borussia Dortmund have been near perfect defensively in the last three games, so there is no need for Lucien Favre to make any changes to his back three. Piszczek and Hummels have used their experience to great effect, while Zagadou has continued his impressive run.

If they keep playing like this, it will be very difficult for Manuel Akanji, who scored a late own goal in the reverse fixture, to get back in the team.

While Freiburg are likely to defend deep for the majority of the game, they have players who could hurt the Dortmund back-line. So they will have to be very careful and on their game at all times.
