Wing Backs: Achraf Hakimi and Raphael Guerreiro

Achraf Hakimi brought up ten league assists for the season last weekend with his cut-back for Erling Haaland’s goal. Despite his inconsistencies, he remains a big threat going forward. He will have plenty of chances to make his darting runs forward this weekend with Dortmund likely to have plenty of the ball.

Raphael Guerreiro is set to keep his place on the opposite wing. The Portuguese international has been consistency personified this season, and will be aiming to pick up right where he left off last weekend.

Central Midfield: Emre Can, Axel Witsel

Emre Can has been excellent since his January move from Juventus. His work-rate and ability to do the dirty work have made him a fan-favourite. Freiburg are a very physical team, so expect him to be very busy on Saturday.

It’s unlikely to happen, but resting Axel Witsel ahead of a tough run of fixtures may not be the worst idea. Julian Brandt is fit again and his creativity in midfield could help Dortmund break the Freiburg defence. But we all know Favre does not like to rotate, so Witsel will likely start alongside Can.
