Thorgan Hazard (7/10)

Hazard did really well to create Sancho’s goal early on. He looked very dangerous, especially in the early stages of game. But his impact started to reduce as the game went on, and he was replaced by Gio Reyna for the final ten minutes.

Jadon Sancho (7/10)

Sancho scored what proved to be the winner for Borussia Dortmund. But other than that, he did not have the best of games. The Englishman looked off the pace today, far from the usually high standards he has set for himself.

Julian Brandt (7/10)

Brandt lost the ball a few too many times early on, but also showed some moments of magic. He was involved Sancho’s winner, and continued to show glimpses of his quality after that. His touch to control Zagadou’s lobbed pass in the second half before setting up Sancho was a thing of beauty.
