Lukasz Piszczek (6.5/10)

Lukasz Piszczek had a very under the radar game, and when defenders are unnoticeable it usually means they have done their job. He has really helped solidify Dortmund’s back line ever since coming in.

Mats Hummels (7/10)

Mats Hummels didn’t do anything earth shattering today but he consistently made the right play and cleared Dortmund’s lines several times throughout the 90 minutes. He has been the heart of the Dortmund defense all year and it is curious to think where we would be without him this season.

Dan-Axel Zagadou (5.5/10)

Zagadou had a tough game in Gladbach. He was a bit sluggish on the ball and made some bad decision both with and without the ball that gave Gladbach several counter attack opportunities. Luckily Embolo missed on a wide open shot in front of goal or else Zagadou would have been largely at fault for that one.
