Erling Haaland’s first leg brace gave Borussia Dortmund a vital win over Paris St. Germain last month. The Black and Yellows have won all three of their games since then, despite being far from their free-flowing best. While Dortmund haven’t been able to score for fun in recent weeks, the defenders have really stepped up to keep the results flowing.

Saturday’s win over Borussia Mönchengladbach showed their character and ability to hold on to a lead, which was often missing in the first half of the season. Lucien Favre will be hoping for more of the same from his team on Wednesday, as they look to defend the 2-1 lead they secured in the first leg last month.

PSG’s weekend game against Strasbourg was called off, so they will be well rested ahead of the Dortmund game. The French giants have scored at least four goals in each of their three games since the first leg defeat.

Their last game saw them thrash Olympique Lyonnais 5-1 in the French Cup, with Kylian Mbappe scoring a hat-trick. PSG will have plenty of the ball on Wednesday as they look to claw their way back into the two legged tie.

PSG will not be able to count on home support though, as Paris Police have confirmed that the game will be played behind closed doors as a prevention measure against coronavirus.
