Previous Meeting: Borussia Dortmund 2-1 Paris St. Germain

The first leg of the tie was a hotly contested affair, which was dominated by Borussia Dortmund. Lucien Favre’s side outthought, outmuscled and out-manoeuvred their opponents in front of a rapturous Westfalenstadion crowd to claim a 2-1 win.

After failing to take their chances in the first half, the home side finally managed to get in front in the 69th minute through Erling Haaland, who reacted quickly to finish past Keylor Navas. Dortmund’s joy was short lived though, as Neymar equalised for PSG soon after, giving them a vital away goal in the process.
