Dan Axel Zagadou vs Kylian Mbappe

Dan Axel Zagadou was excellent in the first leg, barring that one slip which ended with PSG scoring their away goal. But other than that, he made sure that Kylian Mbappe wasn’t able to cause too many problems to the Borussia Dortmund defence.

The French nationals will go up against each other once again on Wednesday. PSG are likely to revert to a more attacking formation, with a front three featuring Neymar, Mauro Icardi and Kylian Mbappe. That change in formation will make it difficult for the Dortmund back three to go 2v1 against the PSG forwards.

And Mbappe, who scored a hat-trick in PSG’s previous game, could look to exploit that with his excellent pace, trickery and ability to get past players. Zagadou is also strong and confident in 1v1 situations, and hasn’t done much wrong so far this season. So the two compatriots are set for an intriguing battle which could very well decide the outcome of the game.
