Ideal lineup

When everyone is healthy I believe the lineup choice should be simple. A back three of Lukasz Piszczek, Mats Hummels and Dan-Axel Zagadou playing in front of Roman Bürki in goal.

Julian Brandt and Axel Witsel/Emre Can slotting in the middle of the park, with Raphael Guerreiro and Achraf Hakimi as the two wing-backs to offer width to the side. Jadon Sancho, Marco Reus and Erling Haaland would finish off the line up, forming the front three.

A majority of the lineup has played stretches together and looked great in its time, especially towards the end of the first half of the season. From the comeback against Augsburg in Haaland’s debut to blowouts against Koln and Union Berlin the side looked great, scoring freely and dominating the games.

Next. Three things we learned from Borussia Dortmund’s loss to PSG. dark

If Dortmund can get back to the form they started the rückrunde with, there is absolutely no reason why they cannot pip their rivals for the title this season.
