What about the title race?

We were heading into an exhilarating end to the Bundesliga season with five teams still in the race to win the title. Borussia Dortmund are currently in second place, but it remains to be seen if they will get the chance to close the gap on league leaders Bayern Munich.

Depending on how the situation progresses in the coming weeks, we could see the entire season get suspended, or the remaining games might be played behind closed doors two months from now. There has even been talk of holding play-offs to decide the destination of the title and Champions League places.

No one has any idea on how the season will end at the moment. And the situation is unlike football has ever experienced before.

It will be interesting to see what solution the German football authorities come up with. But whatever they decide could have serious consequences on the title race as well as the relegation battle in the Bundesliga.
