Borussia Dortmund players with expiring contracts: Who could stay beyond the season?

Borussia Dortmund have four player contracts ending in 2020 and here we will look at the likelihood of each of them re-signing with Borussia Dortmund.

Borussia Dortmund’s season is entirely up in the air right now with all of football currently suspended while the world deals with the effects of the Coronavirus. With no real idea on a potential timeline for the return, one factor that hasn’t really been talked about is the player contracts expiring at the end of June.

If the league is going to be further postponed and the Bundesliga does return, it’s very possible it could run into July and past when a lot current player contracts are set to expire. This won’t only effect the Bundesliga but all leagues as well as the opening of the transfer market.

Here we will take a look at the players with expiring contracts on Borussia Dortmund and the likelihood that each one are going to remain with club past this summer.
