Erling Haaland marks his arrival with a hat-trick

Erling Haaland arrived at Borussia Dortmund in January with a lot of hype surrounding the move from RB Salzburg. The Norwegian international came off the bench for his Dortmund debut, with the Black and Yellows 3-1 down away to Augsburg.

It took Haaland just three minutes to get on the score-sheet, as he halved the deficit for his side with a lovely finish into the bottom corner. Haaland’s second goal was a much easier tap-in as he completed the comeback for Borussia Dortmund, making it 4-3 after Jadon Sancho had equalised minutes earlier.

And the icing on the cake came in the 79th minute, as Haaland kept his composure to complete his hat-trick, sealing a 5-3 win for Borussia Dortmund. It was the perfect way to mark his arrival to the Bundesliga from Haaland, as he helped his side turn a potentially disastrous defeat into a crucial win to kick-start the rückrunde.
