Borussia Dortmund vs Malaga – Champions League 2012/2013

This is by far one of the most memorable games for any Borussia Dortmund fan, the comeback of all comebacks. It was the beginning of the magical Champions League run for Dortmund in the 2012/2013 season.

After thriving in the Group of death that year, coming out and making it to the quarter finals they were up against the wall in Dortmund, Malaga were leading late into the second leg. Borussia Dortmund did the impossible in this one to claw back into the game and eventually seal their progression to the semi-finals.

The two stoppage time goals along with the unforgettable celebration on the field and with the fans will never be forgotten by Dortmund and us as fans.

Borussia Dortmund vs Real Madrid – Champions League 2012/2013

Borussia Dortmund’s 4-1 thrashing of Real Madrid was the next step in their exceptional Champions League campaign in 2012/2013. This was the game Robert Lewandowski announced his ascension to world class status, scoring all four goals for Dortmund.

This leg carried them through their away leg onto the final. This is another must watch as Dortmund score early and often to take a strong grip on the game and the tie.
