Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern – DFB Pokal 2016/2017

Another one of Dortmund’s most memorable matches came against Bayern Munich in the DFB Pokal, only this time in the 2016/2017 season.

This was massive as it led to Borussia Dortmund’s first title since the 2011/2012 double, and also the first title for Marco Reus with Borussia Dortmund. It had been a long time coming for the now captain and all Dortmund fans were ecstatic to see their talisman finally get his trophy.

Although this was only the semi final game, beating Bayern in the Allianz Arena is not an easy feat and well worth reliving. The 3-2 come from behind victory was thrilling to watch for all Borussia Dortmund fans.
