Borussia Dortmund are currently off, with the Bundesliga and European football suspended. Here we will look back at the some of the most memorable Dortmund games of the past decade.

Borussia Dortmund have so many memorable games in the past decade, it’s hard to narrow it down to only five. The opposite is also true, with so many memorable games it’s so enjoyable to go back and look at not only the most exciting but the most meaningful in Dortmund’s recent history.

Most of these games were pretty franchise altering, with the majority of them coming in the first five years of the decade. These games are big parts of the reason behind Dortmund being the top club that they now are. When they started the decade they were just coming back from financial ruin, now they are in an exceptionally sustainable financial position and have developed into one of the top 10-15 clubs in world football.
