Attacking Midfielder: Kai Havertz (Bayer Leverkusen)

30 Appearances, 12 Goals, 6 Assists

After a disappointing first half of the season, Kai Havertz certainly came alive after the winter break. The German international’s performances following the turn of the year were nothing short of world class, as he scored ten goals and assisted five to nearly help Bayer Leverkusen secure Champions League football for next season.

Havertz also showed his incredible versatility this season, excelling in a false nine role and also impressing as a number ten. His ability to get into spaces, drift past defender, break defences with killer passes, and get on the end of goals is what made him stand out.

Havertz has an incredible future ahead of him, and Leverkusen will be hoping that he stays on for at least another season.
