Marius Wolf

Marius Wolf is currently out on loan with Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga. Borussia Dortmund signed him for a measly five million euros from Eintracht Frankfurt but he wasn’t able to make much of an impact. He always seemed like a bit of an odd transfer for Dortmund. He is definitely a Bundesliga quality player but he just doesn’t have the high upside Dortmund is looking for in their regulars.

Wolf is a very solid football player and he is without question good enough to start on a lot of Bundesliga clubs. He has done a decent job in Berlin so far. However, unless he is happy to play a squad role with limited playing time it just doesn’t really make sense for him to stay at Dortmund.
