Sandro Tonali

Sandro Tonali, like Camavinga, has become one of the most spoken about young midfielders in the world. His exceptional passing range and mobility has earned him some high praise over the past few months, especially as he has performed so well in a Brescia side that sits bottom of the Serie A standings.

Tonali has a 73% pass completion this season but the most impressive part about his play is that he averages 2.1 key passes per game in a team that have only notched 22 goals this term.

The young Italian has had comparisons to former Italian great Andrea Pirlo, but the player himself says his role model growing up was Gennaro Gattuso, and his grit is shown in Tonali’s play also as he averages 1.2 tackles as well as 1 interception per game.

The 19-year-old got his first call up to the Italy squad this season and he will be hoping to keep his place in Roberto Mancini’s plans but to do this it seems as though he will need a move this summer as Brescia look as though they will be plying their trade in Serie B next season.

A number of big clubs are said to be circling for his signature already, but he would certainly be an excellent addition to Borussia Dortmund’s midfield, and possibly a long-term replacement for Axel Witsel.
