Giovanni Reyna

Firstly we begin with American talent Gio Reyna. The attacking midfielder joined Borussia Dortmund’s youth team this summer and featured heavily throughout the UEFA Youth League campaign. His impressive performances led to Lucien Favre giving the talented youngster some game time before COVID-19 brought the season to a halt.

Reyna is a technically gifted player and his ability to find pockets of space and find a pass separate him from other talented young players.

His stats in the U19-Bundesliga West have been outstanding as he racked up four goals and seven assists in just 11 appearances while also grabbing four goals in four games during the UEFA Youth League run.

The midfielder has appeared eight times as a substitute this season and he will be hoping to pick up some more game time, especially next season as he possesses top-class talent. Reyna is still only 17, but he has all the tools to become the next big thing at Borussia Dortmund.
