Tanguy Kouassi

Tanguy Kouassi has been enjoying an impressive breakthrough campaign with Paris St. Germain, but he has yet to sign a professional contract with the club. His current deal with the Parisians is set to expire at the end of the season, and he could be on the move this summer.

Kouassi is still only 17, but has already made 13 appearances for PSG. He has earned praise for his ability to play out of the back with the ball at his feet, his strength and his maturity. He can also play as a holding midfielder and shows great intelligence and awareness in pressure situations.

Kouassi has a very ceiling and is being heavily linked with a move to RB Leipzig. Although with Dayot Upamecano now likely to stay, it could open up the door for someone else to snap Kouassi up.

Borussia Dortmund could do with another centre-back, and Kouassi certainly fits the bill. He is still a bit raw, but can develop into a top defender. If he turns out to be half as good as the last highly rated PSG defender Borussia Dortmund signed on a free transfer, we could have a very talented centre-back pairing on our hands for years to come.

If the move for Kouassi does not come to fruition, OGC Nice defender Malang Sarr could be a more than capable alternative.
