How will Borussia Dortmund cope without fans?

Borussia Dortmund have the best home record in Bundesliga, with nine wins and three draws in 12 matches at the Westfalenstadion so far this season. Dortmund’s away record makes for grim reading though, with six wins and four defeats to their name.

The 80,000+ crowd at the Westfalenstadion often plays a massive role in getting the Black and Yellows over the line in matches, and it will be interesting to see how they cope with no fans to spur them on. Losing their home advantage will be a big blow for Dortmund, especially in crunch games against Schalke, Bayern Munich and Hoffenheim.

But hopefully, it won’t affect the players too much, and they can get the results required to win their first Bundesliga title since 2012.
