Borussia Dortmund vs Schalke 04: Five players to watch
By Tushar Bahl
Jean-Clair Todibo
Schalke’s last win came all the way back at the start of February. Defensive lapses and a lack of creativity have hurt them since then, but one player who has consistently impressed for Schalke is Barcelona loanee Jean-Clair Todibo.
Todibo has only made seven appearances for Schalke so far, but has already earned a lot of glowing reviews. The Frenchman averages 2 tackles, 2.2 interceptions and 4.2 clearances per game, impressive numbers despite his side’s woeful recent form.
On Saturday, Todibo will be tasked with going up against Erling Haaland. And whoever comes out on top in this battle between the two highly rated players, could improve his side’s chances of winning exponentially.
