Predicted Borussia Dortmund XI vs Schalke: Sancho on the bench, Reyna set for first start?
By Tushar Bahl
Borussia Dortmund go up against arch-rivals Schalke 04 as the Bundesliga returns this weekend after a two month halt.
Borussia Dortmund will be aiming to get off to a winning start as they look to resume their bid for the Bundesliga title. But beating rivals Schalke without any fans in the stadium to spur them on certainly won’t be an easy task. Both sides will be looking to gain some early momentum, and we could be in for a tightly contested clash on Saturday.
The Black and Yellows will be without four regular starters, as Axel Witsel and Emre Can join long term absentees Marco Reus and Dan Axel Zagadou on the sidelines. Summer signing Nico Schulz has also been ruled out. While Jadon Sancho is reportedly going to be on the bench. Thomas Delaney, though, is fit again, and could return to the side.
Here we look at how Borussia Dortmund could line up against Schalke 04 this weekend.
Goalkeeper: Roman Bürki
First choice goalkeeper Roman Bürki will take his place between the sticks for Borussia Dortmund once again. The Swiss shot-stopper will be aiming to keep his 11th clean sheet of the season.
