Wing-backs: Achraf Hakimi and Raphael Guerreiro

Achraf Hakimi and Raphael Guerreiro will line up as the two wing-backs, and will be looking to offer width and creativity to Borussia Dortmund’s attacking play. The duo have eight goals and 13 assists between them in the Bundesliga alone this season, and they could cause the Schalke defenders a lot of problems on Saturday.

Central Midfield: Thomas Delaney and Julian Brandt

With Emre Can and Axel Witsel out injured, Lucien Favre will be forced to re-jig his midfield. And Thomas Delaney, who hasn’t played since November, will likely make his return to the starting XI. The Dane only returned to training last month, but will have to be at his best to keep Suat Serdar quiet.

Julian Brandt will also return to his favourite number eight role, which will hopefully allow him to dictate the game for Borussia Dortmund. Some of Brandt’s best performances have come from the middle of the park this season, and he will again be key in Dortmund’s attempts to unlock the Schalke defence.
