Forwards: Gio Reyna, Thorgan Hazard, Erling Haaland

With Jadon Sancho reportedly carrying a calf injury, Gio Reyna could be set for his first start for the Borussia Dortmund senior team. The American youngster has done really well off the bench in games so far, but starting against rivals Schalke could be the perfect opportunity for him to really announce his arrival.

Hazard’s work-rate makes him one of the most consistent players in the Dortmund team. The Belgian is also more than capable of producing game-changing moments, as he did in Dortmund’s previous league game against Gladbach.

Erling Haaland will lead Borussia Dortmund’s attack with the intention of getting back among the goals. The Norwegian international has 12 goals in 11 games so far this season, but failed to find the net in the last three games before football came to a halt. A goal against rivals Schalke will be the perfect way to end his mini-drought.
