Borussia Dortmund wasted no time getting back on song in the Bundesliga as they enjoyed a dominant Revierderby performance against FC Schalke.

Borussia Dortmund kicked off the resumption of the Bundesliga in a 4-0 win against rivals Schalke. It was a dominant display by the black and yellows who put their foot on the gas in the first half and never let up. Erling Haaland opened up the scoring in the 29th minute and from then on it was all Dortmund. Thorgan Hazard added another along with a brace from Guerreiro, all of them having great games.

One item of note, was Gio Reyna announced making his first Bundesliga start only to pick up an injury in the warm up. Hopefully the injury isn’t too bad as Dortmund already have several injured players at the moment.

Here we will take a look at the key takeaways from Borussia Dortmund’s win.
