Borussia Dortmund backline solid in return to play

One of the most important storylines in this game was how well Dortmund’s defense played. Outside of one bobbled play that was a bit unlucky the Dortmund defense shut Schalke down. They didn’t have any breakdowns or significant misplaced passes, they were in control and kept Schalke to the outside for the full 90 minutes.

This is crucial if Dortmund are going to push Bayern for the title down the stretch here, without fans to spur them on Dortmund may not be as free scoring as they have been this season (today exlcuded).
