Julian Brandt, Erling Haaland and Raphael Guerreiro were the stars of the show as Borussia Dortmund easily dispatched local rivals Schalke 04 in the first game of the Bundesliga restart.

Despite being without a number of key players, Borussia Dortmund showed no signs of rust as they dominated Schalke 04 right from the first whistle to the last. Goals from Erling Haaland and Raphael Guerreiro gave the Black and Yellows a two goal first-half lead, before Thorgan Hazard added to the scoresheet soon after the start of the second-half. Guerreiro then completed the rout with a fine finish to make it a 4-0 win for Borussia Dortmund.

The win puts Lucien Favre’s side just one point behind league leaders Bayern Munich, ahead of their game against Union Berlin on Sunday.

Here are the player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their thrashing of Schalke.

Roman Bürki (6/10)

Bürki had a quiet afternoon and was only called into action thrice. And he stood firm on all three occasions to keep a comfortable clean sheet.
