Saturday’s draw against SC Freiburg was a big blow to Leipzig’s title hopes. They are now seven points behind Bayern Munich, albeit with a much easier run-in compared to the three teams above them.

This weekend’s trip to Mainz represents the perfect chance for Julian Nagelsmann’s side to get back to winning ways. The Red Bulls will also fancy themselves to get the three points against Hertha Berlin, FC Köln and Paderborn.

Hoffenheim away could be a tricky test for Leipzig, but their toughest and most important game will undoubtedly be at home to Borussia Dortmund on the penultimate weekend of the season.
