Wing-backs and Midfield: Achraf Hakimi, Thomas Delaney, Julian Brandt, Raphael Guerreiro

Raphael Guerreiro and Achraf Hakimi will take up their usual spots on the wing for Borussia Dortmund. Both players are as close to tailor made for the position as it gets.

Their offensive contributions are massive to the Black and Yellows’ success. Although they may be susceptible to the odd defensive blunder, their contributions on the pitch heavily outweigh any mistakes on that front.

Julian Brandt could drop into central midfield alongside Thomas Delaney with the return of Jadon Sancho. Dahoud was passable against Schalke but he is far too inconsistent to rely on for extended periods of time.

On top of that, Julian Brandt is unquestionably at his best when he is in central midfield. With Witsel and Can still on their way back from injury, Delaney will likely take his spot in front of the Dortmund back line.
