Wolfsburg vs Borussia Dortmund: Five players to watch
By Tushar Bahl
Wout Weghorst
Wolfsburg will welcome back Wout Weghorst after the Dutch striker missed last weekend’s game due to suspension. Weghorst has yet to score against Borussia Dortmund, but he is the Wolves’ leading goalscorer this season, having found the net 11 times in the Bundesliga.
Dortmund will have to be vary of the towering striker’s physicality and aerial threat if they are to keep a clean sheet on Saturday.
Kevin Mbabu
After putting in a man of the match performance last weekend against Augsburg, Kevin Mbabu will be determined to continue his good run of form against Dortmund. As he showed last weekend, Mbabu is capable of running rings around defenders with the ball at his feet. His cross for Daniel Ginczek’s winner showed his excellent quality.
The Swiss international’s darting forward runs from right-back are something the Borussia Dortmund defenders will have to find a way of dealing with if they are to get all three points.
