Team News

Wolfsburg will be without Yannick Gerhardt (head injury), Joshua Guilavogui (knee) and William (knee). Guilavogui has been a standout player for Die Wolfe this season but has been missing for the last seven games with a knee injury. Ignacio Camacho could make a return to the match day squad but he remains doubtful with an ankle injury after not making a single appearance this season.

Jadon Sancho will be hoping to push for a return to the starting line-up after making a brief appearance off the bench against Schalke, but Dortmund will definitely be without captain Marco Reus (thigh), Nico Schulz (muscular), Dan-Axel Zagadou (knee) and Axel Witsel (groin).

Reus and Zagadou are not expected to play any further part of this Bundesliga season, Julian Brandt stepped up in the last game and filled the void left by Reus as he was the creative spark that Dortmund needed. Midfielders Emre Can and Gio Reyna will also be looking to return to the side after missing out through injury against Schalke.

Expected Line-ups

Wolfsburg: Casteels – Mbabu, Knoche, Brooks, Otavio – Schlager, Arnold – Steffen, Mehmedi, Brekalo – Weghorst

Borussia Dortmund: Bürki – Piszczek, Hummels, Akanji – Hakimi, Delaney, Brandt, Guerreiro –  Sancho, Haaland, Hazard
