Lukasz Piszczek (7/10)

Fresh after signing a new one year deal, Piszczek put in another commanding shift in Borussia Dortmund’s back three. The veteran Pole made some crucial tackles and interceptions, and also won the majority of his duels. He also completed 92% of his passes, helping out immensely with the team’s build-up play.

Mats Hummels (6.5/10)

Hummels had a solid first half, ensuring that Wout Weghorst and his teammates weren’t able to cause too many problems to Roman Bürki’s goal. He went off with a foot injury at half time, but it looks like he should be fit for the game against Bayern.

Manuel Akanji (6.5/10)

Another decent display by Manuel Akanji, who wasn’t really tested much. He had a couple of nervy moments such as his slip in the box that nearly cost the team in the second half. But he helped his side keep a clean sheet and get the job done. The Swiss international also showed his great passing range, completing nearly 95% of his passes, and playing some impressive long balls.
