Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich: Six players to watch in Der Klassiker

Bayern Munich’s attack will once again be led by star striker Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker already has 41 goals to his name this season, including two against Borussia Dortmund. He has hit the ground running since the restart, and will be looking to add to his exceptional scoring record against his former employers.
Lewandowski is one of the world’s most lethal strikers, and if the Borussia Dortmund defenders aren’t on their game on Tuesday, they can forget about getting the three points.
Thomas Müller
Another Bayern player who is enjoying an excellent campaign is Thomas Müller. Once thought to be past his prime, Müller has enjoyed an incredible renaissance under Hansi Flick and has 17 Bundesliga assists to his name this season, to add to his seven goals.
Müller was Bayern’s star of the show in the reverse fixture, and stopping him will be crucial to Borussia Dortmund’s chances of victory.
Alphonso Davies
Davies has been one of the breakout stars of the season, excelling in his new left-back role for Bayern. His performances have been so good, that some have even labelled him one of the world’s best left-backs. He is not only a big threat going forward, but is also a reliable defender to have in the team.
The Canadian youngster kept Jadon Sancho at bay in the reverse fixture, and he will be aiming to do the same on Tuesday. Borussia Dortmund will also have to be vary of his darting forward runs and excellent crossing ability.
