Team News

Borussia Dortmund will still be without the injured Dan-Axel Zagadou, Marco Reus and Nico Schulz. Jadon Sancho has struggled with a calf injury over the last couple of weeks, but inspired his team off the bench against Wolfsburg by providing an assist. Midfielder Emre Can could be set for his first start since the restart but Axel Witsel faces a race against time to be involved.

Former Bayern defender Mats Hummels picked up a slight knock last time out, but this shouldn’t prevent him from lining up in the side on Tuesday night.

Bayern Munich will be without Philippe Coutinho, Corentin Tolisso and Niklas Sule, as well as key midfielder Thiago Alcantara. The Spaniard missed the game on the weekend and Bayern head coach Hans-Dieter Flick confirmed that the midfielder will be missing again on Tuesday night.

Expected Lineups

Borussia Dortmund: Bürki – Piszczek, Hummels, Akanji – Hakimi, Can, Delaney, Guerreiro – Brandt, Hazard, Haaland

Bayern Munich: Neuer – Pavard, Boateng, Alaba, Davies – Kimmich, Goretzka – Muller, Gnabry, Coman – Lewandowski
