Previous Meeting: Bayern Munich 4-0 Borussia Dortmund

The last time these two met, it was a dominating display by Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. A Lewandowski double, coupled with goals from Serge Gnabry and a Mats Hummels own goal sealed all three points for the Bavarian side, and Dortmund will be looking for revenge when they meet on Tuesday night.

Bayern dominated the game from start to finish with 61% possession and 15 shots at goal. Dortmund couldn’t live with their title rivals as they only amassed two shots, neither of which hit the target.

Dortmund lined up without a recognised striker that day as Mario Gotze led the line but now with the likes of Erling Haaland up front, BVB will be hoping to grab the all important win to pull themselves to within a point of their title rivals.
