Borussia Dortmund’s title hopes appear to be all but over after they suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of rivals Bayern Munich.

In what was a tightly contested match for the majority of the 90 minutes, Bayern took the lead on the stroke of half-time through a stunning 20 yard chip from Joshua Kimmich. Despite a promising first half display, Borussia Dortmund were unable to mount a comeback after the break, giving their title rivals all three points.

With the defeat, the Black and Yellows are now seven points behind Bayern Munich. And with only six games to go, it would be a massive surprise if they were able to claw their way back into the title race.

Here are the player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from the game.

Roman Bürki (4.5/10)

Bürki undoubtedly should have done better to save Kimmich’s goal. But he also made some really good saves either side of the goal to keep Borussia Dortmund in the game.
