Thorgan Hazard (5.5/10)

Hazard looked lively at times, and had a few bright moments while lacking the end product in the first half. But after the break, his impact was very limited. He missed an excellent chance from Emre Can’s cross in the second half, but he had strayed offside anyways.

Julian Brandt (4.5/10)

Brandt was far from his best in the first half, and was withdrawn at the break. He was too careless on the ball, over-hitting a number of decent passing opportunities, which a player of his quality should be doing better with. He also should have done better to close down Joshua Kimmich before his opener.

Erling Haaland (5/10)

Had an action-packed first half, and probably should have put away at least one of his chances. But he wasn’t able to get involved as much after the break, before suffering an injury which saw him come off. Arguably should have been awarded a penalty when his shot struck Boateng’s arm in the second half.
