Forwards: Julian Brandt, Jadon Sancho, Thorgan Hazard

With Erling Haaland out injured, Lucien Favre faces a tough call on who starts up front for Borussia Dortmund against Paderborn. Thorgan Hazard and Julian Brandt have both played the false nine role at times this season, and one of them will start there on Sunday in all likelihood.

Brandt was subbed off at half time after a disappointing performance against Bayern. But there is no reason why he shouldn’t start against Paderborn. On his day, the German international is one of the best playmakers in the world.

Jadon Sancho looked out of sorts and unfit after coming off the bench on Tuesday, so it remains to be seen if he ready to feature from the start. But with Haaland missing, Borussia Dortmund need him to get back to his best and lead them to victory.
