Team News

Borussia Dortmund received a double injury blow after the Bayern game, when it was revealed that Erling Haaland would miss the Paderborn game, and Mahmoud Dahoud won’t be playing against this season. Marco Reus, Dan Axel Zagadou and Nico Schulz remain out. But Axel Witsel could play a bigger part after coming off the bench late on against Bayern.

Emre Can and Jadon Sancho could return to the starting XI, as Lucien Favre looks to manage his players’ fitness.

Paderborn will be without Klaus Gjasula, who received his 15th yellow card of the season in their previous game. Luca Kilian is a doubt, but Steffen Baumgart should have the rest of his squad available to him.

Expected Lineups

Borussia Dortmund: Bürki – Piszczek, Hummels, Akanji – Hakimi, Can, Delaney, Guerreiro – Brandt, Sancho – Hazard

SC Paderborn: Zingerle – Jans, Hünemeier, Schonlau, Collins – Ritter, Vasiliadis – Antwi-Adjei, Holtmann – Mamba, Srbeny
