Previous Meeting: Borussia Dortmund 3-3 SC Paderborn

The previous meeting between these two sides nearly proved to be a highly embarrassing night for Borussia Dortmund, as they needed Marco Reus’ late equaliser to help them earn a 3-3 draw after going three goals down in the first half.

Streli Mamba scored twice and assisted Gerrit Holtmann to help give Paderborn a three goal lead in the first half against a very sloppy Dortmund side.

But the Black and Yellows came back stronger in the second half, with Jadon Sancho pulling a goal back just two minutes after the break. They had to wait until the 84th minute to halve the deficit, with Axel Witsel making it 3-2.

Marco Reus then headed home the equaliser in the 92nd minute to salvage his side’s blushes against the Bundesliga minnows.
