Borussia Dortmund travel to Paderborn on Sunday on match day 29 with hopes of getting back in the win column after their disappointing loss to Bayern Munich.

Borussia Dortmund take on Paderborn on Sunday, looking to get back to winning ways after falling to Bayern Munich 1-0 last weekend. Bayern followed that up with a 5-0 thrashing of Fortuna Dusseldorf, putting themselves 10 points clear of the Black and Yellows before they play. Borussia Dortmund’s title bid is seemingly over, but they are still in the middle of a heated race for the Champions League spots as they sit just four points clear of 5th placed Gladbach. Every point is crucial from here on out for Dortmund as they still need to face Leipzig before the end of the season.

Borussia Dortmund will be without several key figures yet again, added to the injury list this week was star forward Erling Haaland after he left the game against Bayern with a knee injury. It will be a massive blow for Dortmund who don’t really have a natural back-up striker and will have to make due with another creative option. On top of Haaland, March Reus, Dan Axel Zagadou and Nico Schulz are also still out through injury.

Paderborn have been in a rough stretch of games, failing to record a win since January 25th in a 2-0 win against Freiburg. Since then they have lost 5 and drawn 4 in 9 games, so they will be very eager for a win. They had a very positive result against Dortmund in their last meeting, going up 3-0 in the first half before Dortmund stormed back with a last minute equaliser to finish 3-3.

Viewers in the United States can watch the game live on Fox Sports 1. While those in the United Kingdom and Germany can watch on BT Sport 1 and Sky Sport Bundesliga 1 respectively.
