Julian Brandt (7/10)

Brandt wasn’t at his best in the first half, but really improved after the break, playing a key role in Borussia Dortmund’s win. His low cross for Sancho’s first goal was beautifully weighted and precise. He played a total of three key passes, and was involved in a number of dangerous plays before being replaced by Gio Reyna late on.

Jadon Sancho (10/10)

Sancho was Borussia Dortmund’s star of the show, as his second half hat-trick sealed an emphatic win. He looked a lot sharper today than he did in mid-week, and was heavily involved in the team’s attacking play. In addition to his goals, he also played five key passes, causing Paderborn a lot of problems.

Sancho’s goals also helped him become the youngest ever player to reach 30 Bundesliga goals.

Thorgan Hazard (8.5/10)

While Sancho stole the show with his hat-trick, Hazard also put in an excellent performance. The hard working Belgian scored Dortmund’s opener in the second half, before providing the assist for his side’s third goal.
