Emre Can’s second half winner helped Borussia Dortmund earn a hard fought 1-0 win over Hertha Berlin.

Both teams defended really well in what was a tight contest from the first whistle to the last. There weren’t too many clear cut goalscoring chances for either side, but Emre Can’s precise finish from the edge of the box sealed a well earned win for Borussia Dortmund over an in-form Hertha Berlin side.

The win helped Borussia Dortmund open up a four point lead over third placed RB Leipzig, with Bayer Leverkusen now seven points behind in fifth. With just four games to go, the Black and Yellows have all but sealed their berth in next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Here are the player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their narrow win over Hertha Berlin.

Roman Bürki (6/10)

Bürki did not have to work too hard for his clean sheet, as the defenders in front of him dealt with everything Hertha Berlin threw at them.
