Mateu Morey

Mateu Morey was one of the most exciting stories of the pre-season before he injured his shoulder. From his early performances, he looked like he could offer real depth at right-back with his impressive displays.

Instead, after his shoulder injury, he had to bide his time on the bench. However, over the past two games Morey has made short appearances and has impressed in both of them.

Morey should definitely be another option to get some game time and preferably a start in the coming games. With Achraf Hakimi’s future up in the air, Dortmund should take every opportunity they can to see what they have in Morey before they head into next season.

If Morey is able to make an impression over a bigger sample size, Dortmund could have different options available next season at right back.
