How Borussia Dortmund could line up for Fortuna Düsseldorf clash: Hummels back, Haaland on the bench?

Borussia Dortmund travel to Düsseldorf on Saturday with the chance to potentially make sure of their place in next season’s Champions League group stage.

Borussia Dortmund face off against Fortuna Düsseldorf this weekend in a game that will test their patience. Düsseldorf are a structured defensive team, and outside of the game against Bayern have only conceded 6 goals in their previous 5 games. One the other hand Dortmund have scored 13 goals in their past 5 games. This one will be the definition of offense vs defence, with the Black and Yellows having heavy possession attempting to break down their opponents.

Borussia Dortmund still have several players out injured, mainly Dan-Axel Zagadou and Marco Reus who has rejoined team training but Saturday still comes too early for him. Mahmoud Dahoud will also be out as he will miss the remainder of the season. But Erling Haaland and Mats Hummels could return to the starting XI.
