Previous meeting: Borussia Dortmund 5-0 Fortuna Düsseldorf

The last time the two sides met was back in December, when Lucien Favre’s five-star Borussia Dortmund took Fortuna Düsseldorf to the cleaners. Dortmund wore their famous all-black jersey, and tore Düsseldorf apart with some of their best attacking play of the season.

Braces from both Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus, and a Thorgan Hazard strike were more than enough to wrap up a convincing win at Signal Iduna Park and keep the Black and Yellows top of the Bundesliga standings.

While Borussia Dortmund enjoyed a comprehensive win in the reverse fixture, they did suffer defeat away to Fortuna Düsseldorf last season. So they will have to be wary of the home side, and their ability to cause an upset.
